Designed specifically for middle school and high school dancers on school dance teams, these classes help athletes strengthen the technique, versatility, and performance skills needed to excel on and off the stage. Dancers can train in styles including ballet, tap, jazz, leaps and turns, acro, hip hop, and more, with a focus on improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall performance quality.

Each class emphasizes clean technique, sharp execution, and dynamic movement, helping dancers build confidence, stamina, and the ability to pick up choreography quickly. This program is ideal for dancers looking to elevate their school team performance and prepare for auditions, clinics, and competitions.

  • Turns and Leaps

    NON-RECITAL CLASS

    Ages: 11-18

    A high-energy technique class focused on improving turns and leaps through proper alignment, spotting, and controlled execution. Dancers will break down technique step by step while building strength, balance, and endurance.

    Class includes targeted conditioning to develop core stability, leg strength, and power for higher, more controlled jumps and multiple rotations. Individual corrections help each dancer improve precision and confidence. Dancers will leave with stronger technique, better control, and improved performance quality in both turns and leaps.

    Attire: Dance attire such as a leotard with black leggings over it or crop top and dance shorts-hair secured and jazz shoes.

    Duration: 1 hour

  • Intermediate Contemporary

    Ages: 11+

    This class builds on foundational contemporary dance techniques while challenging dancers to further develop strength, flexibility, control, and artistry. Dancers will explore more complex movement combinations, floor work, musicality, and emotional expression through exercises and choreography. Emphasis is placed on technique, performance quality, and developing confidence as a versatile and expressive dancer.

    Prerequisites: ballet, jazz, or modern training

    Attire: Leotard with black leggings over, bare feet.

    Duration: 1 Hour

  • Advanced Contemporary

    Ages:12+

    Designed for experienced dancers, this class focuses on advanced contemporary technique, artistry, and performance. Dancers will refine their strength, flexibility, control, and movement quality while exploring complex choreography, floor work, improvisation, and dynamic movement patterns. Emphasis is placed on musicality, emotional expression, versatility, and developing a strong individual artistic voice. This class challenges dancers both technically and creatively, preparing them for advanced performance and pre-professional training opportunities.

    Prerequisites: advanced ballet, jazz, or modern training

    Attire: Any Leotard with black leggings over and bare feet.

    Duration: 1 Hour

  • Dance Team Technique

    NON-RECITAL CLASS.

    This class is perfect for the more advanced dancer on a dance team with at least one year of experience on their team. Dancers should already have single turns, working on doubles and triples, must have splits, should have experience in beginner jazz technique and will work on intermediate to advanced jazz technique with progressions.

    Attire: Any colored leotard or fitted dance top paired with leggings or boy shorts. Black or tan slip on jazz shoes. No jewelry.

    Duration: 1.5 hours

  • Int/Adv Fusion

    This dynamic class blends multiple dance styles into one powerful, expressive experience. Designed for intermediate and advanced dancers, Fusion Dance challenges students with fast-paced combinations that combine technique, musicality, and performance quality.

    Dancers will explore movement influenced by styles such as contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical, learning how to seamlessly transition between them with control and intention. Emphasis is placed on strength, versatility, and stylistic versatility while pushing artistic expression and confidence.

    With a focus on clean execution, performance energy, and adaptability, dancers will refine their technique while expanding their movement vocabulary. This class is perfect for dancers ready to be challenged, take risks, and grow as versatile performers.

    Attire: Dance attire and jazz shoes

  • Teen Ballet

    Teen Ballet is a beginner to intermediate ballet class designed specifically for older students who want to build a strong technical foundation while enjoying the artistry of ballet. This class is an excellent option for dancers on middle school or high school dance teams, as well as teens whose busy schedules don't allow for two full Academy Ballet classes each week.

    Classes move at a steady pace, covering proper ballet technique, strength, flexibility, coordination, musicality, and artistry in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you're looking to improve your dance team performance, maintain your ballet training, or begin your ballet journey as a teenager, this class provides the perfect balance of challenge and accessibility. With modifications and progressions offered throughout class, Teen Ballet is a great fit for dancers with a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.

    Attire: Any black leotard of choice, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair must be in a bun. No sweatshirts or shorts are allowed in class.

  • Teen Jazz

    This Intermediate level jazz class for older students is designed for middle and high school dancers. It is a fast-paced jazz class focuses on the technique and performance skills needed for school dance teams. Dancers will quickly progress through curriculum that develops turns, leaps, kicks, flexibility, musicality, and performance quality while building strength and confidence.

    Perfect for dancers on their school dance team, preparing for dance team tryouts or looking to take their jazz technique to the next level.

    Attire: any dance wear of your choice, no baggy clothes or t-shrts, no baggy shorts. Jazz shoes or bare feet.

    Duration: 1 hour

  • Teen Tap

    Perfect for older dancers with little to no tap experience, this welcoming class introduces the fundamentals of rhythm, timing, and tap technique in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will build coordination, musicality, and confidence while learning basic steps and combinations. Whether you're trying tap for the first time or looking to add a new style to your training, this class is a great place to start!

    Attire: dance wear of your choice, tap shoes are mandatory

  • Intermediate Hip Hop

    Ages:11+

    This dynamic class is designed for dancers who have a foundation in hip hop and are ready to expand their skills. Dancers will build on their technique, musicality, coordination, and performance quality while learning more complex choreography and movement combinations. Emphasis is placed on rhythm, style, confidence, and self-expression in a fun, supportive, and high-energy environment.

    Prerequisites: currently on your school dance team and/or previous hip hop training

    Attire: Loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to move in- no skirts or dresses. Clean, good quality sneaker.
