The Spring Showcase

Why a Spring Showcase? We believe all dancers deserve the opportunity to dance on a stage!

Our Spring Showcase is an exciting afternoon of dance performances presented by The Dance Academy and North Austin Ballet Theatre — designed to delight and entertain our audiences. This special event gives our students the opportunity to share their hard work and accomplishments, while allowing families to see just how much their dancer has grown in skill, confidence, and artistry throughout the year.

Our teachers proudly present their choreography and creative vision, providing each dancer with a meaningful moment to shine on stage. Held in a professional performing arts center with full theatrical lighting and videography, the production allows every performer to experience the magic of dancing on a real stage in front of a live audience.

What to Expect

Two Shows-One Day

Experience the grace of ballet in Show 1 and the energy of jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, and more in Show 2 at our Spring Showcase. Two performances, one day, and a celebration of our dancers’ passion and versatility on stage!

Watch our students bring their passion to life on stage, showcasing the skills, dedication, and hard work they’ve poured into every class this season. The Spring Showcase is a true celebration of their growth and achievement.

Who Performs In the Show?

All students enrolled in a class (excluding all acro classes) between the first day of the fall session in August and January 31 are included in the performance for the Spring Showcase. Classes close to new students on February 1 to ensure choreography, costumes, and all show details are perfectly coordinated for our May performance.
