Our Culture
TRADITION
We are a Company that upholds the traditions of classical ballet instilling dedication, discipline and perseverance in our company members. These lessons will carry them through the rest of their lives regardless of whether or not they choose dance as their profession. We focus on learning choreography from the classics, understanding that our future is built on our past.
PERFORMANCE
We are passionate about performance! Performing is a vital aspect of our preparation for a future in dance and in the end, the reason why we train as hard as we do. We love to help our dancers discover the joy of live performance and sharing oneself with an audience. We push to grow as artists and learn to express ourselves creatively and tell a story through the art of ballet.
INDIVIDUALITY
We are devoted to getting to know our dancers and working individually with them to achieve their dance goals. Some of our dancers are interested in professional careers, while others wish to pursue a dance degree in a University setting. We are looking for dancers who are passionate about ballet, love to learn, work hard and find joy in the beauty of ballet.
SUPPORTIVE
Our Company provides a warm, supportive environment where dancers can grow and thrive. In a world where ballet can be sometimes harsh, my personal philosophy is to develop dancers by encouraging and building them up, setting realistic goals and keeping our dancers accountable to them in a healthy and positive setting.
